Academic Qualifications & Credentials
After earning his Honors degree in Mathematics and Physics, Dr. Donnelly was awarded a full four-year scholarship to study at England's highly prestigious Oxford University under the guidance of world-renown scientist Professor W. K. Morton. Within less than four years, and by the tender age of only 25, Dr. Donnelly was awarded his Ph.D. in Mathematical Science.

After leaving Oxford, Dr. Donnelly went on to teach several undergraduate and graduate courses at George Washington University, D.C. before accepting a position to teach Math & Physics at a highly prestigious private High School in Hong Kong.

While teaching in Hong Kong, Dr. Donnelly discovered the need for a premium quality tuition service and hence, he co-founded and directed Tutors of Oxford, ( Hong Kong), which initially specialized in teaching Mathematics and Physics to both American and British students.

Tutors of Oxford's reputation for providing the very best private tuition available, helped the company to grow rapidly, hiring over 30 highly-qualified tutors per year to teach the whole range of academic subjects.

After the change in Hong Kong's sovereignty, Dr. Donnelly accepted a University teaching position here in the United States and Tutors of Oxford ( Hong Kong) finally closed its doors, secure in the knowledge of a job well done.

Recently, however, Dr. Donnelly relocated to New York City in order to pursue his love of private tuition and hence, the doors of Tutors of Oxford have proudly re-opened here in Manhattan. www.tutorsofoxford.com

Where are Lessons Given

Our private individual lessons take place either at our convenient East Midtown location or at the student’s Manhattan apartment.

Cost of Lessons

Our regular rates for private individual tuition is $90 per but we currently have package deals as well as Spring & Summer Discount rates starting at $70 per hour.
